The Marque
Hachioji Meets Hathersage
A Japanese kei truck import and overland camper workshop, run out of a damp Yorkshire shed. We bring 660cc, 4WD, sub-tonne machines across the sea, strip them, certify them, kit them out, and send them up the green lanes.
Why we exist
The tiger 虎 is the spirit of the marque: small, agile, fearless. The truck is the vessel. The British hills are the proving ground.
KeiTora Overland started because nobody in the UK was treating kei trucks as what they are: one of the best small overland platforms money can buy. Plenty of people will sell you a grey import. Almost nobody will certify it properly, stock the right parts, and show you how to actually live with it.
We are enthusiasts first and a shop second. If a fender has been welded, we say so. The patina is the proof of work.
The founder
Run by James Anderson, ex-Royal Navy and a trained electrical engineer, by way of a lifelong habit of taking small stubborn machines apart to see how they work. KeiTora Overland is the result of that habit pointed at 660cc of Japanese engineering.
The mission
Make kei truck ownership easy, inspiring and community-driven in the UK. Right, what is it for, green-laning or shifting hay bales?
